All Details

I am a stunning tropical tree prized for my elegant, elongated petals that bloom in soft shades of pink and lilac, filling the air with a sweet, fruity fragrance that is both calming and exotic.

I am a graceful evergreen tree with lush, wavy-edged leaves and exceptionally fragrant pink flowers that resemble delicate stars.

I am native to the tropical and subtropical regions of Southeast Asia, particularly thriving in humid, forest environments.

I prefer consistent moisture and should be watered regularly, especially during the hot summer months, to keep my soil from drying out completely.

I flourish best in full, direct sunlight or very bright indirect light, which helps me produce a profusion of colorful blooms.

I love warm climates between 18°C and 35°C and am quite sensitive to cold winds and frost, which can damage my tender foliage.

I require well-draining, fertile soil and plenty of room to grow, as I can become a medium-sized tree over time.

I enjoy being fed with a phosphorus-rich fertilizer during my blooming season to enhance the color and scent of my flowers.

My scientific name is Magnolia champaca (Pink variety) and I belong to the Magnoliaceae family.

I am generally non-toxic to domestic pets, though my sap can occasionally cause mild skin irritation for sensitive animals.

My large, broad leaves are excellent at absorbing carbon dioxide and my blooms naturally perfume the surrounding atmosphere.

I am highly valued in aromatherapy for my mood-lifting scent and am frequently used in high-end perfumery and floral decorations.

I may suffer from bud drop if my soil dries out too much or if I am moved frequently, and I can occasionally attract spider mites.

I am a sturdy perennial tree that, with the right care and climate, can live and bloom for many decades.
