I am a revolutionary, "new-age" mango variety specifically designed for the modern household and urban gardener. I am called the "Ice Box Mango" because my fruits are perfectly sized to fit inside a refrigerator's vegetable chiller or "ice box" without taking up too much space. I produce small-to-medium, uniform fruits with a smooth, golden-yellow skin. My flesh is a deep saffron-orange, buttery, and completely fiberless, offering a concentrated sweetness that is reminiscent of a premium Alphonso.

I am a high-quality, modern variety prized for my "personal-sized" fruits, high pulp-to-stone ratio, and my ability to be eaten in a single sitting without any waste.

I was developed through modern breeding programs in India (often associated with the VNR or private research nurseries) to meet the demand for high-density, "designer" fruits.

I prefer precise watering; I thrive with drip irrigation that keeps my soil consistently moist but never waterlogged, which helps maintain my uniform fruit size.

I am a sun-lover; I require 8 to 10 hours of direct sunlight to develop my high Brix (sugar) levels and the signature deep orange color of my pulp.

I thrive in warm to hot tropical and subtropical climates between 24°C and 40°C and am very well-suited for the intense summers of Central and Southern India.

I am the ultimate choice for high-density planting (HDP); I have a naturally compact, dwarf-to-semi-dwarf habit and can even be grown in large drums or containers on a terrace.

I am an efficient feeder; I respond beautifully to organic liquid fertilizers and balanced NPK doses, which help me produce heavy clusters of fruit despite my small stature.

My scientific name is Mangifera indica 'Ice Box' and I belong to the Anacardiaceae family.

My flesh is a safe, sweet treat for pets, but my pit—though small—is still a choking hazard and should be kept away from them.

Despite my compact size, my dense, dark green canopy is highly effective at filtering the air and providing a lush, green aesthetic to balconies or small yards.

I am an excellent source of Vitamin A and antioxidants; my main benefit is my convenience—I ripen uniformly and my skin is thin enough to peel easily.

Because I fruit in heavy clusters, my branches may need support to prevent leaning, and I should be monitored for scale insects in crowded garden spaces.

I am a sturdy and highly productive perennial tree that can continue to provide "refrigerator-ready" harvests for 30 to 50 years.
