I am Sweet Tamarind 1313, the orchard’s tangy-sweet treasure. My brown pods carry soft pulp, less sour and more sweet. I thrive in warm climates, offering families a tasty fruit and farmers a profitable crop.
I am a grafted sweet tamarind variety producing softer, sweeter pulp.
Improved cultivar from India; widely grown in Gujarat, Maharashtra, and Andhra Pradesh.
Minimal; drought-tolerant once mature.
Requires full sun.
Thrives in 25–40°C; tolerates arid heat.
Plant in sandy-loam soil; spacing 8–10 meters apart.
Apply compost annually; NPK 8:10:10 every 6 months.
