I am Balsundari Bor, the village’s sweet jujube. My round fruits are crisp and tangy-sweet, loved fresh or dried. I thrive in dry climates, offering families a seasonal treat and farmers a hardy orchard tree.
I am a jujube cultivar producing medium-sized sweet fruits.
Native to India; widely grown in Gujarat, Rajasthan, and Maharashtra.
Minimal; drought-tolerant once mature.
Requires full sun.
Thrives in 25–40°C; tolerates arid heat.
Plant in sandy-loam soil; spacing 6–8 meters apart.
Apply compost annually; minimal fertilizer needed.
