All Details

I am Barmasi Jackfruit, the “all-season Kathal.” My grafted roots give me the power to fruit early and often, producing golden-yellow bulbs with a sweet aroma. I thrive in tropical climates, offering families a year-round delicacy and farmers a reliable orchard crop.

I am a grafted jackfruit variety producing sweet fruits all year round.

Native to India; developed as a grafted cultivar for continuous fruiting.

Water weekly; keep soil moist but well-drained.

Requires full sun (6–8 hours daily).

Thrives in 25–35°C; sensitive to frost.

Plant in sandy-loam soil; spacing 8–10 meters apart.

Apply compost and NPK 8:10:10 every 2–3 months; supplement with potassium for fruit sweetness.

Botanical name: Artocarpus heterophyllus; Variety: Barmasi (Baramasi); Family: Moraceae.

Fruits are safe; seeds edible when cooked.

Moderate; large canopy reduces dust.

Fruits rich in vitamin C, potassium, and antioxidants; eaten fresh, cooked, or processed.

Susceptible to fruit borer, stem rot, and mealybugs; prune for airflow and monitor regularly.

Can live 40–50 years; grafted plants fruit in 9–10 months; peak yield from year 7 onward.

Everyday: from 8:00AM to 6:00PM
