I am Kagadi Lemon, the orchard’s zesty pearl. My thin-skinned fruits are bursting with juice and vitamin C, making me a kitchen essential for pickles, drinks, and fresh flavor.
I am a tropical citrus tree producing thin-skinned, juicy lemons.
Native to India; cultivated widely in Gujarat, Maharashtra, Andhra Pradesh, Rajasthan, and Madhya Pradesh.
Irrigate weekly; drought-tolerant once mature.
Requires full sun.
Thrives in 20–35°C; sensitive to frost.
Plant in sandy-loam soil; spacing 4–5 meters apart.
Apply compost and NPK 8:10:10 every 2–3 months.
Botanical name: Citrus aurantifolia (Kagzi variety); Family: Rutaceae.
Fruits are safe; seeds edible but bitter.
Moderate; leafy canopy reduces dust.
