I am Thai Red Sapota, the ruby-toned chikoo of the tropics. My fruits glow with reddish-brown skin and deep caramel-like pulp, offering orchards a premium variety loved for its sweetness.

I am a tropical fruit tree producing reddish-brown sapota fruits with sweet pulp.

Native to Tropical America; Thai cultivar developed for improved sweetness and darker pulp.

Irrigate once every 5–6 days; drought-tolerant once mature.

Requires full sun.

Thrives in 22–38°C; sensitive to frost.

Spacing 25x25 ft; suitable for plains and low slopes.

Apply compost and NPK 8:10:10 every 2–3 months.

Botanical name: Manilkara zapota (Thai Red cultivar); Family: Sapotaceae.

Fruits are safe; seeds hard and inedible.

Moderate; dense canopy reduces dust.

Fruits rich in sugars, fiber, vitamin C, and antioxidants; eaten fresh or in desserts.
