I am Dorsett Golden, the tropical golden apple. My fruits are crisp, golden-yellow with a red blush, and taste sweet with a hint of tartness. I thrive in warm climates, offering farmers reliable harvests and families a refreshing apple where traditional varieties cannot grow.
I am a low-chill apple cultivar producing golden-yellow fruits with sweet flavor.
Developed in the Bahamas; widely grown in subtropical regions including India, southern USA, and the Middle East.
Water weekly; drip irrigation preferred.
Requires full sun.
Thrives in 20–32°C; tolerates heat better than traditional apples.
Plant in sandy-loam soil; spacing 3–4 meters apart.
Apply compost and balanced NPK every 2–3 months.
