I am a rare evergreen tree with soft-skinned fruits that resemble Longan in taste and appearance. I grow in Southeast Asia and am cultivated for my nutritional value.
Native to Southeast Asia, especially India, Bangladesh, and Thailand.
Water moderately; allow topsoil to dry slightly between sessions.
Thrives in partial to full sunlight.
Prefers warm, humid climates between 20–30°C.
Plant in well-drained soil with organic compost; space generously.
Feed monthly with balanced NPK fertilizer during growing season.
Botanical name: Baccaurea courtallensis; family: Phyllanthaceae.
No known toxicity to pets, but fruits should be consumed cautiously.
Helps maintain humidity and may trap airborne particles.
Fruits are rich in iron and antioxidants; tree offers shade and biodiversity.
Susceptible to root rot if overwatered; watch for leaf yellowing.
