I am Kalipati 1313, the orchard’s caramel delight. My brown-skinned fruits are soft, sweet, and packed with flavor. I fruit early, yield heavily, and thrive in Indian soils—making me a grower’s favorite and a market darling.

I am a grafted sapota cultivar producing sweet, medium-sized fruits with granular pulp.

Selected and propagated in Gujarat and Maharashtra; popular in western and southern India.

Water weekly; increase during flowering and fruiting.

Requires full sun (6–8 hours daily).

Thrives in 25–38°C; tolerates dry heat.

Plant in well-drained sandy-loam soil; spacing 6–8 meters apart.

Apply compost and NPK 8:10:10 every 2–3 months; supplement with boron and potassium.

Botanical name: Manilkara zapota; Cultivar: Kalipati 1313; Family: Sapotaceae.

Fruits are safe; seeds not edible.

Moderate; dense canopy reduces dust.

Fruits rich in natural sugars, fiber, and vitamin C; used fresh or in milkshakes.

Susceptible to fruit fly, mealybugs, and leaf spot; prune for airflow and monitor regularly.

Can live 40–60 years; starts fruiting in 2–3 years; peak yield from year 7 onward.

Everyday: from 8:00AM to 6:00PM
