I am Araza Boi, the Amazon’s golden treasure. My round yellow fruits burst with tangy pulp, refreshing and aromatic. I thrive in humid tropical climates, offering families a unique fruit for juices and sweets, and farmers a niche crop for specialty markets.
I am a tropical fruit tree producing bright yellow, tangy fruits.
Native to the western Amazon (Peru, Brazil, Colombia).
Water 2–3 times per week; keep soil moist but well-drained.
Requires full sun to partial shade.
Thrives in 25–35°C; sensitive to frost.
Plant in sandy-loam soil; spacing 4–6 meters apart.
Apply compost and NPK 8:10:10 every 2–3 months.
Botanical name: Eugenia stipitata; Family: Myrtaceae.
Fruits are safe; seeds edible but rarely consumed.
Moderate; dense foliage reduces dust.
