I am Red Long Mulberry, the elongated jewel of orchards. My fruits are slender, ruby-red, and bursting with sweet-tart juice. I thrive in warm climates, offering farmers premium yields and families a unique delicacy.

I am a rare mulberry species producing elongated red fruits with sweet-tart flavor.

Native to the Himalayan foothills; cultivated in India, Nepal, and Southeast Asia.

Water weekly; drought-tolerant once mature.

Requires full sun (6–8 hours daily).

Thrives in 20–30°C; tolerates mild frost.

Plant in sandy-loam soil; spacing 5–6 meters apart.

Apply compost and NPK 8:10:10 every 2–3 months; supplement with potassium for fruit sweetness.

Botanical name: Morus macroura; Family: Moraceae.

Fruits are safe; leaves edible for silkworms.

Moderate; dense canopy reduces dust.

Fruits rich in vitamin C, iron, and antioxidants; used fresh, dried, or in jams.

Susceptible to fruit fly, powdery mildew, and root rot; prune for airflow and monitor regularly.
