All Details

I am a premium, high-yielding selection of the famous "Queen of Mangoes," specifically bred for enhanced fruit quality and consistent performance. I produce medium-sized, slightly curved fruits with a characteristic dull yellow skin and a beautiful green tinge at the stem. My flesh is a deep, glowing saffron (Kesar) color, entirely fiberless, and renowned for having one of the most intense, honey-like sweetnesses and alluring aromas in the world.

I am a superior selection of the traditional Kesar variety, valued for my excellent shelf life, high sugar content (Brix), and my ability to bear fruit consistently every year.

I am a refined cultivar originating from the Junagadh and Amreli regions of Gujarat, India, where the unique soil and climate make my flavor world-famous.

I prefer deep, thorough watering during my flowering and fruit-setting stages, but it is important to stop watering about 2 to 3 weeks before harvest to ensure my sugars are highly concentrated.

I am a true sun-lover; I need full, direct sunlight for at least 8 to 10 hours a day to develop my signature saffron-colored flesh and intense sweetness.

I thrive in hot, dry, and semi-arid climates between 25°C and 42°C and am very well-adapted to the scorching summers of Western India.

I grow best in well-draining, loamy soil with a slightly alkaline pH and require a sunny, open space where my canopy can spread comfortably.

I respond beautifully to organic fertilizers like castor cake, neem cake, and well-rotted farmyard manure, which help enhance my unique aroma and fruit size.

My scientific name is Mangifera indica 'Kesar 1212' (selection) and I belong to the Anacardiaceae family.

My fruit flesh is a safe and healthy treat for pets, but my sap, leaves, and large pit contain natural irritants and should be kept out of their reach.

My dense, evergreen foliage stays lush year-round, acting as a natural air filter that absorbs carbon dioxide and cools the surrounding environment.

I am a nutritional powerhouse rich in Beta-carotene and Vitamin A, and I am considered one of the best varieties in the world for making premium pulp and juices.

I am generally more resistant to pests than other varieties, but I should be monitored for fruit flies and powdery mildew during humid spells.

I am a long-lived and incredibly productive perennial tree that can provide you with "royal" harvests for 40 to 60 years or more.
